The Irrepressibles is a British art-pop project founded in 2002 by singer, composer and pianist Jamie Irrepressible. Its chamber-pop arrangements draw on piano, strings and cabaret, while albums including Mirror Mirror, Nude and Superheroes established a catalogue led by songs such as “In This Shirt” and “Two Men in Love.” The Human Mirror was presented as a touring staged concert, placing a chamber ensemble within a large mirrored structure. Concerts built around Mirror Mirror and Nude also used strings, piano and choreographed movement to frame the voice of Jamie Irrepressible.
