The Jive Aces are a British six-piece swing and jive band formed in 1989. They play upbeat swing, jazz and rhythm and blues, and became familiar to a wider audience after reaching the live semifinals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012. Their best-known recordings include a version of “Bring Me Sunshine” and the album King of the Swingers. Their performance history includes appearances at Glastonbury Festival and the Montreux Jazz Festival. The group performs with vocals, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, piano, double bass and drums, drawing on the repertoire of swing-era performers as well as its own material. The band plays theatre dates around Britain and has toured extensively in the United States.
