About The Judds
The Judds are an American country duo formed in 1983 by mother Naomi Judd and daughter Wynonna Judd. Their close family harmonies became familiar through songs including “Mama He’s Crazy,” “Why Not Me,” “Grandpa (Tell Me ’Bout the Good Old Days)” and “Love Can Build a Bridge.”
The Farewell Tour closed their original run in 1991 after Naomi Judd was diagnosed with hepatitis C. A New Year’s Eve reunion concert at America West Arena in Phoenix in 1999 led into the Power to Change Tour in 2000, and the duo later returned for The Last Encore tour in 2010 and 2011. After Naomi Judd’s death in 2022, Wynonna Judd proceeded with The Final Tour as a tribute; Brandi Carlile, Ashley McBryde and Trisha Yearwood were among the guest singers.
