Kruger Brothers in Rocky Mount

Kruger Brothers are a Swiss-American acoustic trio based in North Carolina, comprising brothers Jens Kruger on banjo and Uwe Kruger on guitar with bassist Joel Landsberg. They play bluegrass, folk and country alongside classically structured instrumental music, and are known for the album Up 18 North and Jens Kruger’s Appalachian Concerto. Kruger Brothers have performed repeatedly at MerleFest in Wilkesboro, building a long association with North Carolina’s roots-music community. Their concert programs have also included Appalachian Concerto, performed by the core banjo, guitar and bass trio with a string quartet. The group also hosts the recurring Carolina in the Fall festival.
