The LeeVees are an American rock band formed in New York City in 2005 by Guster’s Adam Gardner and the Zambonis’ Dave Schneider after the two groups toured together. Created to write contemporary songs about Hanukkah, the band released the album Hanukkah Rocks in 2005; its lineup has also included Michael Azerrad, Shawn Fogel and Daniel Saks. The LeeVees later collaborated with Matisyahu on the 2015 song “Outside of December.”
