The Lettermen in Las Vegas

The Lettermen are an American male vocal trio formed in Las Vegas in 1959. Their close-harmony pop and easy-listening sound became known through recordings such as “The Way You Look Tonight,” “When I Fall in Love” and the medley “Goin’ Out of My Head/Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” as well as the album A Song for Young Love. An early lineup appeared in the revue Newcomers of 1928 at the Desert Inn. Following their first Capitol hits in 1961, The Lettermen spent decades touring theaters, casinos and concert halls, retaining the three-voice format through successive lineups. The Lettermen have also toured the Philippines repeatedly.
