About The Lil Smokies
The Lil Smokies are an American progressive bluegrass band formed in Missoula, Montana, in 2009. Their acoustic string-band music draws on bluegrass, folk and rock songwriting, documented on albums including Changing Shades and Tornillo.
The Lil Smokies won the Northwest String Summit Band Competition in 2013 and the Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition in 2015. In subsequent years, they toured clubs and theatres across the United States and performed at DelFest and High Sierra Music Festival.
