About Michael Cleveland
Michael Cleveland is an American bluegrass fiddler born in Henryville, Indiana, in 1980. He leads the band Flamekeeper and is known for the albums Fiddler’s Dream and Tall Fiddler; the latter won the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album.
At 13, he performed at the Grand Ole Opry as a guest of Alison Krauss. He later toured with Dale Ann Bradley and as a member of Rhonda Vincent & The Rage before forming his own group in 2006.
He has performed with Flamekeeper at MerleFest in Wilkesboro and the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Oak Hill.
