The Limiñanas are a French psychedelic garage-rock group formed in the Perpignan area by Lionel and Marie Limiñana in 2009. Their music draws on fuzz guitar, organ, spoken vocals and 1960s pop; key releases include Malamore, Shadow People and De Película, a collaboration with Laurent Garnier. “Istanbul Is Sleepy,” featuring Anton Newcombe, is among their best-known songs. In 2018, The Limiñanas brought an expanded touring lineup to KEXP in Seattle for a filmed session. The group has also presented its full-band set at Levitation France in Angers.
