Sassy 009 in Philadelphia

Sassy 009 is a Norwegian electronic project led by producer, singer and songwriter Sunniva Lindgård. It began as a trio before becoming Lindgård’s solo vehicle, moving between house, techno and electronic pop on releases including Do You Mind, KILL SASSY 009 and Heart Ego. The project’s best-known tracks include “Pretty Baby” and “Maybe in the Summer.” A Boiler Room broadcast from Oslo documented the original trio performing with electronics, vocals and flute. Lindgård later carried the project into its solo phase, presenting the material through live vocals, guitar and electronic production at clubs and festivals. Sassy 009 has performed at Roskilde Festival and Øyafestivalen.
