Artist
The Mary Wallopers are an Irish folk group formed in Dundalk by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy. They perform traditional songs alongside original material, drawing on pub singing, ballads and punk energy. Their releases include the albums The Mary Wallopers and Irish Rock N Roll, while “Cod Liver Oil and the Orange Juice” and “Frost Is All Over” are among their best-known recordings. The Mary Wallopers broadcast concerts from their family home during the 2020 pandemic restrictions. They later headlined multiple nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street, performed at Glastonbury Festival in 2024 and ended that year with a headline concert at 3Arena.
