The Menzingers are an American punk rock band formed in Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 2006. They became closely associated with melodic, story-driven punk through albums including On the Impossible Past and After the Party, and songs such as “Good Things,” “The Obituaries” and “I Don’t Wanna Be an Asshole Anymore.” The 2017 tour behind After the Party featured Jeff Rosenstock and Rozwell Kid. The band later toured behind Hello Exile with Tigers Jaw and Culture Abuse, while the 2023 run for Some of It Was True included Cloud Nothings and Rodeo Boys. The Menzingers perform as a four-piece electric band, built around the alternating lead vocals of guitarists Greg Barnett and Tom May.
The Flatliners are a Canadian punk rock band formed in Richmond Hill, Ontario, in 2002. Their early records drew heavily on ska punk, while albums including The Great Awake, Cavalcade and Dead Language established a more melodic punk and hardcore sound. The Flatliners toured clubs and punk festivals after Fat Wreck Chords released The Great Awake in 2007. They joined the Vans Warped Tour in 2011 and supported The Menzingers on European dates in 2018. The live show uses the band’s longstanding four-piece lineup: Chris Cresswell on vocals and guitar, Scott Brigham on guitar, Jon Darbey on bass and Paul Ramirez on drums. The band has repeatedly performed in Toronto and Montreal and has returned to London on UK tours.
