The Midnight in Louisville

The Midnight is an American synthwave duo formed in Los Angeles in 2012 by singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and producer Tim McEwan. Their electronic pop draws on 1980s synthesizers and prominent saxophone parts. The duo is known for songs including “Sunset,” “Los Angeles” and “Vampires,” as well as the albums Endless Summer, Kids and Monsters. The Midnight played their first concert at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles in 2017. As their schedule expanded, the duo developed a full-band touring setup built around vocals, guitar, drums, synthesizers and saxophone. That format anchored the 2023 Change Your Heart Tour across North America.
