About The Milk Carton Kids
The Milk Carton Kids are an American indie-folk duo formed in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, in 2011 by singers and guitarists Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan. Close vocal harmony and interlocking acoustic-guitar parts shape songs including “Michigan,” “New York” and “Snake Eyes,” while their albums include Prologue, The Ash & Clay and Monterey.
The duo performed at the 2013 Another Day, Another Time concert at New York’s Town Hall, a celebration of the music associated with Inside Llewyn Davis. Their usual concerts pair two voices and acoustic guitars with dry spoken exchanges between songs; touring behind All the Things That I Did and All the Things That I Didn’t also brought a full band into the arrangement.
Their festival history includes performances at Newport Folk Festival and Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
