The Minutes are an Irish garage-rock trio formed in Dublin by Mark Austin, Tom Cosgrave and Shane Kinsella. Their direct, riff-driven sound is captured on the albums Marcata and Live Well, Change Often, and in songs including “Fleetwood” and “Cherry Bomb.” The Minutes played Oxegen during the touring cycle for Marcata and later appeared at Electric Picnic. Their touring also reached showcase festivals outside Ireland, including SXSW in Austin and Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen.
