The Moonlandingz in Birmingham

The Moonlandingz are a British psychedelic rock group created by Sheffield electronic duo The Eccentronic Research Council and members of Fat White Family. Conceived as a fictional band before becoming a working act, they released the album Interplanetary Class Classics in 2017. Their best-known songs include “Sweet Saturn Mine,” “Black Hanz” and “The Strangle of Anna.” In 2017, The Moonlandingz toured the UK behind Interplanetary Class Classics and performed at Glastonbury Festival. The concerts featured a full band fronted by Lias Saoudi in the role of Johnny Rocket, the character around whom the project was originally built.
