The Motans is a Moldovan pop project created in 2015 by singer-songwriter Denis Roabeș. Its Romanian-language songs draw on pop, soul and R&B, and the catalog includes “Versus,” “August,” “Înainte să ne fi născut” and the album My Gorgeous Drama Queens. The Motans has performed at Untold and Neversea and has also presented its own headline concert at Arenele Romane. The project has played most often in Romania and Moldova, including concerts in Bucharest and Chișinău.
