About The Nadas
The Nadas are an American roots-rock band formed in Ames, Iowa, in 1993 by singer-songwriters Jason Walsmith and Mike Butterworth. Their guitar-led mix of rock, folk and country found an audience through independent albums including Coming Home and Lovejoy Revival.
The Nadas have performed at Des Moines’s 80/35 Music Festival as part of a long concert history centered on Iowa and the Midwest. The band also returned over multiple years to its own holiday concert, Nada Silent Night.
