The Outside Track in Wermelskirchen

The Outside Track is a Celtic folk group formed in 2005 by musicians with roots in Scotland, Ireland and Cape Breton. They play traditional and newly written songs and tunes led by fiddle, flute, accordion, harp, guitar and vocals. Their albums include Curious Things Given Wings, Flash Company, Light Up the Dark and Rise Up. The Outside Track has performed at Celtic Connections in Glasgow and Milwaukee Irish Fest. Their North American festival history also includes the Celtic Colours International Festival in Cape Breton. Their concerts combine vocal ballads, instrumental sets and step dancing in the Cape Breton tradition.
