The Overtones in Stoke-on-Trent

The Overtones are a British vocal harmony group formed in London in 2010. Their pop draws on doo-wop, soul and early rock and roll. The debut album Good Ol' Fashioned Love introduced original songs including “Gambling Man,” while Higher and Saturday Night at the Movies extended their mix of new material and vocal-group standards. The Higher Tour was followed by the Saturday Night at the Movies Tour and the Sweet Soul Music Tour, taking the group through theatres around the UK. A live band supports their close harmonies and coordinated choreography across original songs, soul covers and doo-wop standards. Seasonal theatre runs later became a recurring part of their schedule under the title Christmas with The Overtones.
