About The Pigeon Detectives
The Pigeon Detectives are an English indie-rock band formed in Rothwell, West Yorkshire, in 2004. They became known through the debut album Wait for Me and the singles “I’m Not Sorry,” “Take Her Back” and “Romantic Type,” followed by the album Emergency and its title track.
The band played Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2007 as Wait for Me took them onto larger UK stages. In 2008 they headlined Millennium Square and performed with Kaiser Chiefs at Elland Road; in 2017, they revisited their debut by playing Wait for Me in full on a tenth-anniversary tour.
