Artist
The Quakes are an American psychobilly band formed in Buffalo, New York, in 1986 and led by singer and guitarist Paul Roman. They play fast, guitar-led rock rooted in rockabilly and punk. Their principal releases include the self-titled debut, Voice of America and New Generation. In 1987, the group relocated to London and performed at the Klub Foot, a central venue in the early psychobilly scene. A later visit to Japan was documented on Live in Tokyo, and the band went on to tour extensively in Europe and the United States.
