Artist
The Real People are an English indie-rock band formed in Liverpool in 1986 by brothers Chris and Tony Griffiths. Their melodic guitar sound anticipated Britpop, and their best-known recordings include “Window Pane,” “Open Up Your Mind (Let Me In)” and the self-titled album The Real People. In 1997, the band supported Ocean Colour Scene on a UK arena tour. They later established recurring hometown Christmas concerts at the O2 Academy.
