Artists
The Record Company is an American blues-rock trio formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Chris Vos, Alex Stiff and Marc Cazorla. Their debut album, Give It Back to You, introduced the songs “Off the Ground” and “Rita Mae Young” and received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Later releases include All of This Life, featuring “Life to Fix,” and Play Loud. The Record Company played Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza while touring behind their debut. They later opened arena dates for John Mayer and performed on dates with Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band.
Cracker is an American alternative-rock band formed in 1990 by singer-guitarist David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman following Camper Van Beethoven’s initial breakup. The band also plays country rock and roots rock: the 1993 album Kerosene Hat contains “Low,” “Get Off This” and “Euro-Trash Girl,” while “Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)” appeared on its self-titled debut. In 1995, Cracker opened for the Grateful Dead at the latter band’s final concert, held at Soldier Field in Chicago. Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven later established the recurring Campout, which brings both David Lowery-led bands to Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California, during the same weekend.
