Red Hot Chilli Pipers in San Angelo

Red Hot Chilli Pipers are a Scottish bagrock band formed in 2002, combining Highland bagpipes and marching percussion with a rock-band lineup. They became widely known after winning the BBC One programme When Will I Be Famous? and have recorded bagpipe-led versions of “We Will Rock You,” “Clocks” and “Smoke on the Water,” including material released on Bagrock to the Masses. In 2007, the group performed its bagrock arrangements on When Will I Be Famous? and won the televised competition. Red Hot Chilli Pipers subsequently built an international concert schedule around theatres, festivals and Highland gatherings, with frequent appearances in the United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland.
