About The Samples
The Samples are an American rock band formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 1987. Led by singer and songwriter Sean Kelly, they play melodic alternative rock shaped by reggae rhythms and open-ended improvisation. Their best-known recordings include “Feel Us Shaking,” “Did You Ever Look So Nice” and the albums No Room and The Last Drag.
The Samples joined the inaugural H.O.R.D.E. festival tour in 1992 and spent much of that decade performing in clubs and college venues across the United States. Their Colorado concert history also includes repeated appearances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
