The Sheepdogs in Moncton

The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band formed in Saskatoon in 2004, playing blues rock, boogie and Southern rock. They became the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone after winning the magazine’s Choose the Cover competition. Their best-known work includes the albums Learn & Burn and The Sheepdogs, and the songs “I Don’t Know,” “The Way It Is” and “Feeling Good.” In 2012, they performed at Coachella and Bonnaroo as their audience expanded beyond Canada. They later supported Kings of Leon on the Mechanical Bull Tour and joined John Fogerty for Canadian dates, bringing their guitar-led set to amphitheatres and arenas. Their concerts use a full electric band, vocal harmonies, keyboards and multiple guitars. Lead vocals and much of the guitar work are handled by founding member Ewan Currie.
