Artist
The Skints are a British band formed in east London in 2007. Their music draws on reggae, ska, dub and punk, heard across albums including Part & Parcel, FM and Swimming Lessons, and songs such as “This Town” and “Rise Up.” The band spent the summer of 2016 on Vans Warped Tour in North America. They have also taken FM and Swimming Lessons through headline tours of clubs and theatres in the UK and abroad. The live act is a four-piece built around shared vocals and multi-instrumental arrangements. Marcia Richards moves between keyboards, saxophone, flute and melodica, while Joshua Waters Rudge, Jonathan Doyle and Jamie Kyriakides supply guitar, bass and drums. Reading and Leeds Festivals have hosted the band, and The Skints have returned to Boomtown Fair.
