About THE STAR CLUB
THE STAR CLUB is a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1977. Led by founding vocalist Hikage, the group is known for fast, direct punk and albums including HELLO NEW PUNKS and PUNK! PUNK! PUNK!.
THE STAR CLUB began performing in Nagoya’s live houses in the late 1970s and went on to play across Japan through repeated lineup changes. Hikage remained the frontman as successive lineups performed in punk venues in Tokyo.
