The String Cheese Incident is an American jam band formed in Crested Butte, Colorado, in 1993. The group plays bluegrass-rooted rock shaped by funk, folk and psychedelia, and is known for songs including “Texas,” “Black Clouds” and “Colorado Bluebird Sky,” as well as albums such as Born on the Wrong Planet and Untying the Not. The String Cheese Incident performed at the inaugural Bonnaroo in 2002 and later returned repeatedly to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for multi-night runs. Beginning in 2013, the band became the host act at Suwannee Hulaween at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park. They perform multiple sets there, including the themed Saturday-night performance known as the Shebang.
