The Stylistics are an American soul vocal group formed in Philadelphia in 1968. Their close harmonies and Russell Thompkins Jr.'s falsetto became central to recordings produced by Thom Bell, including “You Are Everything,” “Betcha by Golly, Wow,” “I'm Stone in Love with You” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New.” Their 1974 live album captured The Stylistics at London's Hammersmith Odeon during their first decade of international touring. They returned to British theatres on later anniversary tours and also joined package revues, including the Giants of Soul tour.
