The Subways in Bremen

The Subways are a British indie-rock trio formed in Welwyn Garden City in 2002. Billy Lunn, Charlotte Cooper and Josh Morgan established the band’s guitar-driven sound on the debut album Young for Eternity, which includes “Rock & Roll Queen” and “Oh Yeah”; later records include All or Nothing and Money and Celebrity. In 2004, The Subways won Glastonbury Festival’s Unsigned Performers Competition and played the Other Stage. Tours behind Young for Eternity took them into clubs and theatres, followed by appearances at Reading and Leeds, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. In 2008 they opened for Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium.
