About The Texas Gentlemen
The Texas Gentlemen are an American musical collective formed in Dallas, playing country rock, soul, roots rock and psychedelia. Drawn from the North Texas session-player community, the group is known for the albums TX Jelly and Floor It!!!.
In 2016, the musicians appeared at Newport Folk Festival as the backing band for Kris Kristofferson. After TX Jelly, they toured under their own name with a full electric lineup, developing the ensemble format they had used for Kris Kristofferson.
