The Tossers are an American Celtic punk band formed in Chicago in 1993. Led by singer and mandolin player Tony Duggins, they pair punk rock with fiddle, tin whistle and traditional Irish folk instrumentation. Their best-known work includes the albums The Valley of the Shadow of Death, Agony and On a Fine Spring Evening, as well as songs such as “The Pub” and “Siobhan.” In 2005, The Tossers performed on the Vans Warped Tour, and they have also toured with Dropkick Murphys and Reverend Horton Heat. The band established an annual St. Patrick’s Day concert tradition in its hometown, including performances at Metro.
