About The Trews
The Trews are a Canadian rock band formed in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, in 1997. Their guitar-led sound took shape on the debut album House of Ill Fame, which includes “Not Ready to Go” and “Tired of Waiting”; later releases brought songs including “Poor Ol’ Broken Hearted Me” and “Highway of Heroes.”
In 2009, the band documented an acoustic concert at Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio on Acoustic: Friends & Total Strangers. They later returned to their debut material for the House of Ill Fame 20th Anniversary Tour, performing the album in full as part of the show.
