About THE Undead
THE Undead are an American horror-punk band formed in New York in 1980 by singer and guitarist Bobby Steele after his departure from Misfits. The band is known for the early EP Nine Toes Later and releases including Dawn of the Undead and Act Your Rage.
THE Undead began performing in New York’s punk clubs, including Max’s Kansas City and CBGB. The concert album Live Slayer documented their stage repertoire, and subsequent club tours in the United States and Europe were led by Bobby Steele.
