The Undercover Hippy in Birmingham

The Undercover Hippy is a British singer-songwriter project led by Bristol-based musician Billy Rowan. Its acoustic reggae, folk and hip-hop rhythms carry politically focused lyrics and social commentary, heard across albums including Monkey Suit, Truth & Fiction and Poor Little England. Billy Rowan developed the act through solo performances before taking The Undercover Hippy on the road as a full band. The project has performed at Glastonbury Festival and Shambala Festival, and its UK festival history also includes Boomtown Fair.
