The View in Southampton

The View are a Scottish indie-rock band formed in Dundee in 2005. Fronted by Kyle Falconer, they became known through their debut album, Hats Off to the Buskers, and songs including “Same Jeans,” “Superstar Tradesman” and “Wasted Little DJs.” Later records include Which Bitch?, Cheeky for a Reason and Exorcism of Youth. The View played T in the Park during their early rise and returned to the festival in later years. In 2017, they marked the tenth anniversary of Hats Off to the Buskers by performing the album in full on a UK tour. After several years apart, the band returned to the stage for reunion shows in 2022 at O2 Academy Glasgow.
