The Vines in Little Rock

The Vines are an Australian alternative rock band formed in Sydney in 1994 and led by singer-guitarist Craig Nicholls. Their 2002 debut album, Highly Evolved, introduced the songs “Get Free,” “Outtathaway!” and the title track; later releases included Winning Days, Vision Valley and the single “Ride.” The Highly Evolved touring cycle took The Vines to Reading Festival in 2002, and that year they performed “Get Free” at the MTV Video Music Awards. After a break from touring that began in 2004, they returned to the stage in 2006 at the Annandale Hotel and then performed at Splendour in the Grass.
