The Wanton Bishops are a Lebanese blues-rock band formed in Beirut in 2011 by Nader Mansour and Eddy Ghossein. Their music draws on electric blues and garage rock, and their debut album, Sleep with the Lights On, includes the title track and “Oh Wee.” After the debut, The Wanton Bishops took those songs outside Lebanon for a performance at South by Southwest in Austin. The band later played Glastonbury Festival in England and the open-air Nova Rock festival in Austria.
