The White Buffalo in Porto Alegre

The White Buffalo is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Jake Smith, who writes folk, country and roots rock songs around a deep baritone voice. His work became closely associated with the television series Sons of Anarchy, which featured “The Whistler,” “Wish It Was True” and “Come Join the Murder,” recorded with The Forest Rangers. His albums include Once Upon a Time in the West, Shadows, Greys & Evil Ways and Darkest Darks, Lightest Lights. Live at the Belly Up documented The White Buffalo at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, a club setting suited to his full-band performances. He has also carried that repertoire onto larger outdoor stages, including Bonnaroo.
