The Wombats are a British indie-rock trio formed in Liverpool in 2003. Matthew Murphy, Tord Øverland Knudsen and Dan Haggis became known through songs including “Moving to New York,” “Let’s Dance to Joy Division” and “Greek Tragedy,” and albums such as A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, This Modern Glitch and Glitterbug. In 2007, the band performed at Glastonbury and later made repeated appearances at Reading and Leeds. Headline tours followed the releases of Glitterbug and Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, taking the group through theatres and larger concert halls. The Wombats perform as a guitar, bass and drums trio, led by Murphy’s vocals. Their headline dates have included Alexandra Palace in 2015 and the O2 Arena in 2022, both in London.
The Snuts are a Scottish indie-rock band formed in West Lothian in 2015. Singer and guitarist Jack Cochrane fronts the group, whose catalogue includes the debut album W.L., Burn the Empire and Millennials, as well as the songs “Always” and “Coffee & Cigarettes.” The band played King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut early in its career and later headlined Barrowland Ballroom. In 2022, The Snuts performed at Glastonbury Festival and closed the year with a headline show at OVO Hydro. The Snuts play most often in the United Kingdom and have also toured the United States.
