The Yawpers are an American rock trio formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 2011. They play rough-edged rock and roll with blues, punk and Americana elements. American Man, Boy in a Well and Human Question are central albums in their catalog, and Boy in a Well unfolds as a concept record set in France during World War I. Following Bloodshot Records’ release of American Man, The Yawpers toured clubs across the United States and Europe, then returned to the road behind Boy in a Well and Human Question. They also performed at South by Southwest in Austin. Their live setup centers on amplified acoustic guitar, electric guitar and drums, led by the vocals of Nate Cook.
