Thomas Godoj is a German rock singer and songwriter, born in 1978 in Rybnik, Poland, and raised in Recklinghausen. He became known by winning the fifth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2008, then released the debut single “Love Is You” and the album Plan A! His later work moved toward German-language alternative rock, including the album Richtung G. The Plan A! Tour took his debut material to German venues in 2008, where he performed as the frontman of a rock band. He followed it in 2009 with concerts built around his second album on the Richtung G Tour.
