About Thornhill

Thornhill are an Australian band formed in Melbourne in 2015, playing progressive metalcore and alternative metal colored by nu-metal and shoegaze textures. The albums The Dark Pool and Heroine established their contrasting heavy and atmospheric sides, while “Where We Go When We Die,” “Lily & the Moon” and “Casanova” became key songs in their catalogue.

Thornhill joined Northlane’s Australian Alien World Tour in 2019, performing on a lineup that also included Counterparts and Silent Planet. In 2022 they crossed North America as part of Dayseeker’s Dark Sun tour, then returned in 2024 for Silent Planet’s Superbloom tour.
