Thursday is an American post-hardcore band formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1997 and led by vocalist Geoff Rickly. The group became known through the albums Full Collapse and War All the Time, including the songs “Understanding in a Car Crash,” “Cross Out the Eyes” and “Signals Over the Air.” After reuniting in 2016, Thursday performed at Wrecking Ball in Atlanta and Riot Fest in Chicago. The band later toured anniversary performances of Full Collapse and War All the Time, while its New Jersey holiday concerts included multi-night engagements at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville.
Titus Andronicus is an American punk and indie-rock band formed in Glen Rock, New Jersey, in 2005 by singer and guitarist Patrick Stickles. The band is known for the Civil War-framed concept album The Monitor, the rock opera The Most Lamentable Tragedy, and songs including “A More Perfect Union” and “No Future Part Three: Escape from No Future.” In 2009, Titus Andronicus supported The Pogues on a run of US shows. Six years later, the band played five nights at the Brooklyn DIY venue Shea Stadium; recordings from the engagement became the live album S+@DIUM ROCK: Five Nights at the Opera.
