Tiere streicheln Menschen is a German comedy-and-music duo formed by writer Martin Gottschild and songwriter Sven van Thom. Their signature format, billed as an “Actionlesung,” combines absurd stories, original songs and short films. The Actionlesung began in Berlin in 2003 and subsequently travelled through clubs, theatres and cabaret venues across Germany. Martin Gottschild delivers the spoken stories and films, while Sven van Thom performs the musical part of the show.
