Tiësto in Manchester

Tiësto is a Dutch DJ and producer, born Tijs Verwest in Breda in 1969. He became known through trance records such as “Traffic” and “Adagio for Strings” and the album In My Memory, then brought house and dance-pop into later releases including “Red Lights” and “The Business.” Tiësto in Concert was staged at GelreDome in Arnhem in 2003, and he returned for a second concert the following year. In 2004 he performed during the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympic Games. The Elements of Life World Tour followed in 2007 and included a show at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen. He later established long-running Las Vegas residencies at Hakkasan and Wet Republic.
