Tig Notaro in Colorado Springs

Tig Notaro is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and director, born in 1971 in Jackson, Mississippi. Her deadpan, autobiographical comedy became widely known through the 2012 album Live, followed by specials including Boyish Girl Interrupted, Happy to Be Here and Drawn; she also co-created and starred in the television series One Mississippi. In 2012, Tig Notaro walked onstage at Largo in Los Angeles and opened the set that became Live by telling the audience she had cancer. Boyish Girl Interrupted was later filmed at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, while Happy to Be Here was recorded at the Heights Theater in Houston.
