Tim Bendzko in Potsdam

Tim Bendzko is a German singer-songwriter, born in East Berlin in 1985, who performs German-language pop. He became known through “Nur noch kurz die Welt retten” and the debut album “Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären”; later releases include “Am seidenen Faden” and the single “Hoch”. In 2009, Bendzko won a talent competition and performed at Berlin’s Waldbühne. He joined Silly on tour as a support act the following year, then represented Berlin with “Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären” and won the Bundesvision Song Contest in 2011.
